Summer Opportunities Panel

Hosted by the History Undergraduate Advisory Panel

Don't know what to do over the summer? Come to an informal panel and hear four
history majors discuss their summer internships in fields ranging from
Consulting to Politics to I-Banking to Public Management. Learn how they got
their internship and how you can get an internship like theirs too!

Matthew Mawhinney

Worked for the U.S. Agency for International Development in Morocco. Matt
developed a program in youth journalism and helped bring in professional
journalists for USAID.

Julie Perilstein

Worked for Russell Reynolds Associates, a global consulting firm. Julie worked
in New York as a research assistant, helping Russell Reynolds as they went
headhunting for different executive level positions.

Noah Weiss

Worked for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter. Noah researched legislation, worked in
community outreach and in constituent case work.

Amanda Schreiber

Worked for JPMorgan Chase as a summer analyst. Amanda focused on their mining
and metals division and at the end of her internship presented a project
analysis to JPMorgan Chase.
